This was taken at sunset at Th' Gatherin', the fire festival of Beltane near WaKeeney, Kansas.
I was walking back from one of the main tents, and looked up the hill to the flags and saw this beautiful shot. I literally ran down to my wife (who was taking pix around the fire ring), grabbed the camera and tripod, and sprinted back to where I could get this shot. I have a couple of others, and will be submitting them also. Please let me know what you think. |

Just after the last time I was on (omg 6 months ago) I started my new business, and have been working 12+ hour days 7 days a week and loving every minute of it.
I have a bunch of photos to upload, and lots of stuff to write, but haven't taken the time to do so.
